Regional Security Supervisor
Location: Tri State Region, NY, NJ, CT
About the Role
PBS Facility Service is seeking a Regional Security Supervisor to oversee security operations across multiple properties in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. This field-based role requires daily travel to conduct inspections, support officers, handle incidents, and maintain strong client relationships. The position ensures all officers follow PBS standards, meet licensing requirements, and provide a safe and professional security presence.
What You Will Do:
Operational Oversight
  • Conduct routine and unannounced site inspections.
  • Ensure officers follow post orders, uniforms, access control, and PBS procedures.
  • Confirm posts are properly staffed and adjust coverage as needed.
  • Inspect radios, badges, CCTV, and access control tools.
  • Document findings and corrective actions.

Leadership and Training
  • Supervise officers and site supervisors across multiple locations.
  • Provide coaching, feedback, and on the job training.
  • Conduct onboarding and review post orders with new officers.
  • Respond to call offs and staffing gaps and provide coverage when needed.
  • Support HR and Operations with performance or conduct issues.

Compliance and Quality
  • Ensure officers maintain active NY, NJ SORA, and CT credentials.
  • Confirm post orders and emergency procedures are current and accessible.
  • Audit logs, incident reports, and visitor activity for compliance.
  • Reinforce customer service, communication, and appearance standards.

Incident Response and Reporting
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies as the supervisory lead.
  • Coordinate with building management and emergency services.
  • Guide officers on scene control and accurate reporting.
  • Review incident reports and escalate major concerns.
  • Recommend improvements or additional training.

Client Relations
  • Serve as primary point of contact for on site managers.
  • Address service issues and operational concerns promptly.
  • Participate in client meetings, property walks, and reviews.
  • Communicate PBS policies and updates to clients and staff.

Administrative Reporting
  • Submit inspections, training logs, incident reviews, and corrective actions.
  • Support scheduling accuracy and payroll reconciliation.
  • Provide data for KPIs and performance reviews.
  • Maintain officer licensing and training records.

Travel and Availability
  • Travel daily across NY, NJ, and CT in all weather conditions.
  • Respond to urgent issues during evenings, nights, weekends, or holidays.
  • Perform occasional overnight travel if needed.

What It Takes to Be Successful:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Three or more years of experience in security, law enforcement, military, or related field.
  • One to three years of supervisory experience.
  • Ability to obtain:
  • NY Security Guard Registration
  • NJ SORA License
  • CT Security Officer Certification ID Card
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to lead teams across multiple locations.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate or Bachelor degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, or related field.
  • Experience managing multi-site or multi-state operations.
  • Bilingual English and Spanish.
  • Experience with CCTV, access control, alarm systems, and incident reporting
