Full-Time

Pay: $24.00–$24.50 per hour

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Security Operations Auditor to join our growing team. This position is ideal for someone with a background in physical security, security operations, compliance, or data analysis who enjoys identifying trends, improving processes, and ensuring operational excellence.

The Security Operations Auditor is responsible for reviewing security-related records, validating operational data, identifying discrepancies, and ensuring work is completed in accordance with established procedures and service standards. This role works closely with operations teams to improve data quality, strengthen compliance, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Audit security records for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company standards.
  • Review incident reports, work orders, and operational tickets to ensure documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Identify data quality issues, including incorrect classifications, missing documentation, inaccurate closure information, and incomplete follow-up actions.
  • Track audit findings and verify corrective actions through completion.
  • Analyze trends and recurring operational issues, recommending process improvements where appropriate.
  • Create reports and dashboards to communicate findings, operational metrics, and compliance trends.
  • Perform root cause analysis on recurring issues and document recommendations clearly.
  • Ensure adherence to established policies, procedures, and audit methodologies.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Security Management, and support teams to improve operational performance.
  • Learn and adapt quickly to evolving security technologies, workflows, and operational standards.
QualificationsRequired
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Must possess an active Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) Level II Non-Commissioned Security Officer License.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in one or more of the following:
    • Physical Security
    • Security Operations
    • Security Compliance
    • Operations Support
    • Quality Assurance or Auditing
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze information, identify trends, and make objective recommendations.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Preferred
  • Experience working with ticketing or workflow management systems.
  • Familiarity with access control systems, video surveillance platforms, or physical security operations.
  • Experience using reporting or business intelligence tools such as Power BI.
  • Knowledge of audit methodologies, compliance processes, or quality assurance programs.
