The Childcare Teacher serves as the Lead Teacher within a large team of 8 or more professionals, delivering a structured curriculum with flexible daily activities. This role involves guiding young children through developmentally appropriate lessons while fostering a safe and engaging environment that supports both the children’s growth and the collaborative efforts of the teaching team.

Responsibilities

• Supervise children to ensure safety and well-being
• Plan and implement lessons aligned with a structured curriculum
• Coordinate engaging and age-appropriate activities
• Manage behavior with positive guidance techniques
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians
• Monitor and maintain safety standards
• Keep accurate records of child development and attendance
• Collaborate closely with team members to enhance learning experiences

Preferred Qualifications

• Entry-level experience in childcare
• High school diploma or equivalent
• CPR and First Aid certification
• Knowledge of Child Development
• Classroom management skills
• Strong communication skills
• Patience and creativity in teaching approach
