SECON Group is a well-diversified industry leader with extensive experience in the construction, mining, oil and gas, and power generation sectors.

We are seeking proposals from qualified contractors to provide professional office cleaning services under a contract service agreement for our head office located in Esterhazy, Saskatchewan.

The successful contractor will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and professional office environment in accordance with the agreed scope of work and service standards.

Service Schedule

The Company is seeking cleaning services twice per week, consisting of:

• One mid-week service, to be performed outside regular business hours (Ie: Wednesday)
• One weekend (Saturday or Sunday) or after-hours Friday service, as agreed upon with the successful contractor.

The scope of work is anticipated to require approximately 5 to 6 hours, total per week.
The weekend or Friday after-hours service will generally require more time and a broader scope of cleaning than the mid-week service

Equipment and Consumables

• The Company will provide all cleaning equipment required to perform the services.
• The Company will provide all approved cleaning and office consumables required to complete the work.
• The Contractor will monitor inventory levels, pick up required consumables as needed and charge approved purchases to the Company account.
• Low inventory levels must be reported promptly to help prevent interruption of service.

Scope of Work

1. Weekly Cleaning Schedule

The following services shall be provided during the regularly scheduled weekly cleaning visits:

• Vacuum all carpeted areas and floors on the upper and lower levels.
• Sweep and wash all hard-surface floors, including entrances, hallways, and stairways.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen appliances, countertops, tables, sinks, and other kitchen furnishings. Wash and put away any dishes left in common areas.
• Clean and sanitize common-area furniture, including the boardroom table, chairs, and remote controls.
• Clean, disinfect, and restock washrooms on both levels 

• Dust accessible furniture, desk surfaces, shelving, and filing cabinets without disturbing documents, equipment, or personal items.
• Sanitize exterior surfaces of filing cabinets, photocopiers, printers, and shredders.
• Remove garbage and recycling from all designated collection points and place it in the appropriate disposal areas.
• Monitor inventory levels of cleaning, kitchen, and washroom consumables and notify the Company when replenishment is required. 

2. Annual Deep Cleaning Services

The following services shall be completed annually at a mutually agreed-upon time and should be priced separately from the regular office cleaning services:

• Wash walls and doors in common areas, hallways, stairwells, kitchens, and washrooms.
• Spot-clean walls throughout office and administrative areas.
• Thoroughly clean and wipe down all shelving units, filing cabinets, and other storage surfaces.
• Clean interior windows, glass partitions, and entrance doors.
• Dust and clean high and hard-to-reach areas, including vents, ledges, and other accessible elevated surfaces.

Health, Safety and Quality Requirements

• Comply with all applicable occupational health and safety legislation and maintain a safe work environment while on Company premises
• Perform all services in a professional, consistent, and reliable manner to a standard satisfactory to the Company.
• Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all information, documents, equipment, and materials encountered while performing services on Company premises.
• While not mandatory, contractors who maintain active WCB coverage and commercial liability insurance are encouraged to provide evidence of such coverage as part of their submission.

Interested contractors are invited to submit a proposal that includes the following:

• Contractor or company name and contact information.
• Resume and/or summary of relevant commercial cleaning experience.
• Two to three client references.
• Confirmation that the required service schedule can be accommodated.
• Proposed hourly rate for providing the services outlined in this posting.
  

The successful contractor will be selected based on experience, references, availability, pricing, and overall suitability for the services required. Services are expected to commence as soon as a mutually agreed-upon start date can be arranged.
