We are currently seeking a Haitian Creole ir Spanish Speaking Community Counselor (LICSW or LMHC) to join our team. This is an incredible opportunity for a mental health professional who is passionate about supporting the community and making a difference in the lives of individuals. As a Community Counselor, you will work closely with clients to provide therapeutic services, facilitate support groups, and develop treatment plans tailored to their specific needs. This role requires not only a solid foundation in mental health practices but also the ability to communicate effectively with Haitian Creole or Spanish-speaking clients. Responsibilities
  • Provide individual and group counseling services to clients in both English and Haitian Creole or Spanish.

  • Must possess a current LICSW or LMHC license in good standing.
  • Fluency in Spanish or Haitian Creole is required, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in providing mental health counseling in a community setting.
  • Strong understanding of cultural competencies and the unique challenges faced by diverse populations.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in maintaining client records.
  • Commitment to professional development and continuous education in the field of mental health.
