A growing manufacturing organization is looking for a Health, Safety & Wellness (HSW) Specialist to lead safety initiatives across its facility and project sites. This is an opportunity to join a company that builds complex, highquality process systems for clients across multiple regulated industries, offering a fastpaced environment where safety leadership truly matters. About the Role You'll be the driving force behind the company's safety culture-supporting the Joint Health & Safety Committee, strengthening the Health & Safety Management system, and ensuring employees and contractors work safely every day.
This role blends handson site work, technical compliance, training, and strategic influence. Key Responsibilities Lead Job Safety Analysis (JSA), risk assessments, and hazard evaluations Conduct shop and jobsite inspections to verify controls and compliance Oversee legislated equipment inspections and subcontractor safety performance Participate in design reviews to identify and eliminate risks early Maintain HSE platforms (ISNetworld, Contractor Compliance, Cognibox) Lead incident investigations and rootcause analysis Deliver safety and wellness training across the organization Promote a proactive, collaborative "Safety First" culture Requirements Education in Occupational Health & Safety or a related technical field 3-5 years of HSE experience in manufacturing, construction, or heavy industry Strong knowledge of OH&S legislation Ability to influence and communicate across all levels Valid driver's license and ability to travel (approx. 20%) CRSP or NCSO designation is an asset Opportunity to work on highprofile ICI mechanical projects Benefits Salary: $90,000-$100,000 + benefits + RSP matching Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) Artificial intelligence (AI) is not used to screen, assess, or make hiring decisions for this role.
