Part-Time Bookkeeper
Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Part-Time Bookkeeper to support day-to-day accounting functions. This individual will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, entering transactions, reconciling accounts, and assisting with basic bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks Desktop. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and comfortable working independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Enter financial transactions and maintain accurate records in QuickBooks Desktop.
- Perform data entry for accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger transactions.
- Balance and reconcile the company checkbook and bank accounts.
- Maintain organized financial records and supporting documentation.
- Assist with basic bookkeeping and accounting functions.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records.
- Prepare reports and provide administrative accounting support as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous bookkeeping or accounting experience required.
- Proficiency with QuickBooks Desktop is required.
- Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices.
