We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Remote Mental Health Therapist to join Scripps Behavioral Center. Key Responsibilities

As a Remote Mental Health Therapist at Scripps Behavioral Center, your day-to-day activities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments of clients to better understand their mental and emotional well-being.
• Creating individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and ongoing consultations with clients.
• Delivering high-quality therapy sessions both individually and in couples therapy formats, focusing on various mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship conflicts, and trauma.
• Regularly reviewing and adjusting treatment plans to ensure they reflect client progress and adapt to evolving needs.
• Maintaining thorough documentation of client interactions, including progress notes and treatment updates, in compliance with organizational standards.
• Providing crisis intervention support during urgent situations and facilitating a safe space for clients experiencing acute distress.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive client care, fostering a holistic approach to mental health treatment.
• Staying informed about the latest evidence-based therapies and best practices in the mental health field to enhance service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will encompass a varied client base, including adolescents navigating the tumultuous phase of teenage years, adults dealing with stressors related to work, relationships, or life transitions, as well as couples seeking to strengthen their relationships. You will be adept in adjusting your therapeutic approach based on the unique needs and goals of each individual or couple you work with, ensuring inclusivity and sensitivity toward diverse backgrounds.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

• An independent and active license in one of the following areas: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• Current licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist in compliance with state regulations.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of one year of experience in providing individual and/or couples therapy is required, candidates with additional experience in a remote setting or familiarity with telehealth platforms will be prioritized. Strengths in various therapeutic modalities and a proven track record of successful client outcomes will also be regarded favorably.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is between USD 120,000 and 140,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a sign-on bonus of $3,000. Our benefits package includes:
