Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor at Scripps Behavioral Center, you will engage in a variety of essential duties, including:

• Group Therapy Facilitation: Conduct interactive group therapy sessions to create a supportive and empathetic environment where clients can share their experiences, learn from each other, and build community.
• Individual Therapy Sessions: Provide one-on-one counseling utilizing a client-centered approach to help clients explore their emotions, develop coping strategies, and create actionable plans for personal growth.
• Treatment Planning: Collaborate with clients to develop individualized treatment plans that are tailored to their specific needs, preferences, and goals, ensuring a personalized therapeutic experience.
• Progress Monitoring: Assess and document client progress regularly using various psychological assessment tools and feedback mechanisms, making necessary adjustments to treatment strategies as needed.
• Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with a diverse team of mental health professionals to provide comprehensive care, coordinating treatment efforts and consulting on complex cases to maximize client outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with young adults aged 18 to 30 who are navigating a range of mental health challenges, including mood disorders and other psychological complexities. Our focus on a holistic treatment approach means you will engage clients in evidence-based modalities while addressing their emotional, social, and wellness needs.

Qualifications

• Licensure: A valid and active Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) license is required for this role.
• Education: A Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field is necessary.

Preferred Experience

While one year of direct experience in mental health treatment is required, preference will be given to candidates with experience working in residential or outpatient settings, especially with young adults facing diverse mental health challenges.

Compensation and Benefits

The competitive salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to USD 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition to monetary compensation, we offer an attractive benefits package that includes:
