Many of our consultants have previous teaching experience and will share best practices and offer practical advice. They are just a phone call away for any questions or concerns. Perks & Compensation: Earn up to $200 - $263 for day-to-day assignments and more for long-term pay varies by certification, school, and assignment Paid training hours and professional development opportunities (variable by state) Weekly paychecks via direct deposit Hired as a W-2 employee so no worrying about withholding your own taxes Reimbursement for expenses related to state and federal background checks 401k enrollment after meeting eligibility requirements Referral Program: Refer friends to sub with Scoot - after they work 10 shifts, you both earn $100 gift cards The role is non-exempt.

Actual pay is hourly and based on hours worked Role Requirements: Bachelor's degree, associate's degree or college credits Three professional references, including at least one from a previous supervisor State & federal background checks A TB risk assessment or test You'll Stand Out If You: Passion for education and putting students first An empathetic nature, a growth mindset, and a drive to be the best you can be Have a teaching credential/certificate or 30-Day Substitute Teaching Permit Have previous experience in special education settings Are bilingual and/or have bilingual teaching experience What You'll Do: Supervise and support students in the classroom, playground, or cafeteria Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment.
