Job Title: Network Engineer
Job Duration: 6 Month Contract

Job Description:
Responsible for installing and maintaining all LAN/WAN voice and data infrastructure on classified and unclassified Cisco networks.
This includes routers, switches, security and access devices.
Additionally, the position is responsible for the following: assisting in the design and implementation of any core switches and routers and Cisco VoIP Unified Communications; assisting in LAN/WAN and Cisco wireless network related additions and changes.
This includes all hardware and software issues and on-going administration of the corporate network.; implementing and managing aspects of physical and logical security; maintaining accurate records of all maintenance, inventory, and security measures using ITIL processes for voice and data networks; working with branch team members to assess and solve infrastructure challenges.
This position provides network infrastructure support to setup, configure, modify, test, maintain, operate, and support Cisco switches and routers, Cisco permission management and administration.
Qualifications:
Must have at least 5 years' experience.
Expertise is required in Cisco products (ex. Routers, Switches and Firewalls).
Experience working with carrier class MPLS services
Excellent IP networking fundamentals and extensive experience in the application and troubleshooting of IP protocols.
In-depth knowledge of and experience with major router platforms.
Experience working with large-scale networks
Excellent network analysis fundamentals and robust troubleshooting skills.
Candidates should also have had significant experience with, and expertise in many of the following protocols & technologies: VLANs/STP, IPv4 & IPv6, TCP (internals & flow control), BGP, OSPF, PIMv2, IGMP, LDP, IPSEC & VPNs, netflow, DNS, HTTP, SSL.
