Contract Position available for an ongoing contract!

We are seeking a skilled Composite Manufacturing Technician to support the manufacturing and assembly of large aircraft composite components and structures, including fairings for Q400 Airtanker Conversions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manufacture and assemble composite aircraft components and structures, including fairings, panels for Q400 Airtanker Conversions
  • Perform composite layups, bonding, vacuum bagging, curing, trimming, drilling, and finishing of completed parts
  • Use molds, resin injection machines and curing ovens as part of the manufacturing process.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, work instructions, and technical documentation
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with aviation safety regulations
  • Collaborate with engineering, QA, and production teams to meet delivery schedules

Qualifications/Experience

  • 2+ years of experience in aerospace composite manufacturing
  • Knowledge in resin vacuum infusion and oven curing processes
  • Proficiency in composite layup processes
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Experience working in accordance with aerospace quality standards
  • Comfortable using hand and power tools
  • Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
  • Aviation experience preferred
