In this role, you will work primarily with individuals facing challenges related to addiction, emotional distress, and trauma. Many clients may be dealing with suicidal ideation or experiencing acute crises due to personal circumstances. Your ability to build rapport and provide culturally sensitive support will be crucial in helping our clients feel safe and understood during vulnerable moments.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.
  • A valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) credential.
  • At least three years of relevant experience in crisis intervention and mental health counseling, with a focus on addiction therapy.
  • Proficient understanding of ethical and legal standards guiding mental health practice.
Preferred Experience
  • Specialized training in trauma-informed care and crisis counseling methodologies.
  • Demonstrated capability in providing support to individuals in immediate mental health crises.
  • Strong knowledge of evidence-based crisis intervention techniques and patient-centered approaches.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster trusting relationships with clients.
  • Culturally aware and sensitive to the diverse backgrounds and experiences of clients.
