What You'll DoAs our Chief Nursing Officer, you will oversee the clinical and administrative operations of the nursing department while helping guide the overall success of the facility. Responsibilities include:
- Leading and supporting the nursing team to promote high-quality resident care and positive clinical outcomes
- Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations while maintaining ongoing survey readiness
- Partnering with the CEO and leadership team to support facility goals, growth, and operational success
- Overseeing staffing, scheduling strategies, recruitment, retention, and team development within the nursing department
- Supporting quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives through data analysis, action planning, and follow-through
- Collaborating with physicians, ancillary departments, therapy teams, and external partners to ensure coordinated care
- Reviewing clinical referrals and admissions to ensure appropriate resident placement and care capabilities
- Promoting a culture focused on resident rights, dignity, safety, and person-centered care
- Supporting employee growth through education, mentorship, coaching, and clinical competency development
- Maintaining strong communication with residents, families, staff, and providers to help create a positive and supportive environment
- Participating in budget discussions, staffing recommendations, and operational planning
- Assisting with MDS oversight and interdisciplinary care coordination as needed
- Helping lead the facility through challenges while maintaining professionalism, resilience, and strong leadership presence

Requirements
Education- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required
- BSN or MSN preferred
Licensure- Active RN license in the state of Oregon required
- Current CPR certification required
- Valid driver's license required
- DNS-CT or CDONA certification is a plus
Experience- Required 3-5 years of successful leadership experience as a Director of Nursing, Chief Nursing Officer, or equivalent clinical leadership role in a Skilled/long-term care setting
- Strong background in skilled nursing, regulatory compliance, staffing management, and quality improvement
- Experience leading interdisciplinary teams and promoting positive employee relations
