Position Overview

SageWise Wellness is actively seeking a dedicated and empathetic Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our dynamic team. In this full-time remote role, you will play a vital part in our mission to democratize access to high-quality mental health care. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver direct therapeutic services to a diverse panel of clients, providing support through their mental health journey via our telemedicine platform.

Work Environment

This role is predominantly remote, granting you the flexibility to schedule client sessions during traditional office hours, evenings, or weekends. While you will be primarily working from home, you will be part of a supportive outpatient office environment that encourages professional growth and team collaboration. Our multi-disciplinary clinical team is dedicated to continuous improvement and outcome-focused client service.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough diagnostic assessments to accurately determine diagnoses and create tailored treatment plans for your clients.
• Offer therapeutic interventions, including psychotherapy and psychopharmacological support, and monitor client functioning and treatment outcomes diligently.
• Provide crisis intervention services, which may include safety planning, relapse prevention, referral to community resources, and executing same-day evaluations if necessary.
• Collaborate closely with a multi-disciplinary team to review each case's details, share feedback, and strategize on overcoming client hurdles.
• Ensure meticulous documentation and management of client records, confirming all information is complete and up-to-date.
• Coordinate care with other involved parties, including family members, referral sources, and external organizations, to enhance the effectiveness of treatment services.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at SageWise Wellness, you will work with a varied clientele, encompassing individuals, couples, and families experiencing diverse mental health challenges. Your focus will include supporting clients through issues related to relationship dynamics, anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health disorders. This role requires an understanding of different cultural backgrounds, as our client base is reflective of the rich diversity of Glendale, California, and beyond.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy (LMFT) or a related field.
• A valid and active California license in one of the following: Professional Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Clinical Social Work.
• A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in providing therapy, preferably in telehealth settings.
• Solid experience in diagnosing a spectrum of mental health disorders and tailoring interventions accordingly.
• Strong evidence-based clinical skill set, demonstrating commitment to implementing outcome-focused care.
• Exemplary empathetic and intuitive listening skills to foster a trusting therapeutic relationship.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities to effectively convey information and maintain client records.
• Proficiency in crisis response, including assessment and direction during pivotal moments.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience with electronic health record systems to manage client documentation seamlessly.
• Familiarity with telehealth modalities and platforms that facilitate remote therapy sessions.
• Engagement in continuous professional development, including depression and anxiety treatment protocols, trauma-informed care, and integrating new therapeutic modalities.

Compensation and Benefits

SageWise Wellness offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 to $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a robust salary, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including:
