Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your primary responsibility will be to deliver psychotherapeutic services to individuals experiencing a variety of mental health challenges. Your specific tasks will include:

• Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments and developing tailored treatment plans that utilize established best practices and focus on solution-oriented interventions.
• Utilizing evidence-based methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to implement therapeutic interventions according to clients' unique needs and preferences.
• Maintaining detailed clinical documentation and adhering to HIPAA regulations to safeguard patient confidentiality and uphold high standards of practice.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplined treatment team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure holistic and coordinated care for your clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

To thrive in this role, candidates should meet the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) within the state of Illinois.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience providing psychotherapy services in a mental health setting.
• Strong proficiency in solution-focused therapeutic techniques, with an openness to incorporate new methodologies as research evolves.
• Quality communication and interpersonal skills essential for building rapport with clients and fellow team members.

Preferred Experience
