Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-depth clinical assessments to evaluate the mental health needs and goals of each client.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual clients, ensuring strategies align with their unique situations.
  • Provide engaging and supportive individual, couples, and group counseling sessions addressing a variety of mental health concerns.
  • Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary treatment teams, sharing insights and contributing to comprehensive care strategies for clients.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records, adhering to legal and ethical standards required in mental health practice.
  • Participate in regular clinical supervision sessions and case conferences to continuously enhance service quality and professional competence.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clientele consists of individuals from various backgrounds, presenting a range of mental health challenges, including but not limited to, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, PTSD, and addictions. The compassionate care we offer addresses their emotional struggles and supports their journey toward improved mental well-being.

Qualifications
  • A current license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of New York.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field. A Master's degree in clinical mental health counseling is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in conducting individual and group therapy within mental health settings.
  • Knowledge and proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic techniques relevant to mental health treatment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to foster therapeutic relationships with clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Excellent communication abilities, both written and spoken, ensuring clarity and empathy in interactions.
  • A commitment to maintaining ethical standards and protecting client confidentiality at all times.
Preferred Experience
  • At least one year of work experience in a clinical mental health setting.
  • Experience with telehealth platforms and practices is beneficial but not required.
  • Familiarity with community resources and referral networks to support client care.
Compensation and Benefits
