Job Title: Lead Electrician
Reports To: Director of Service Operations

Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday (with occasional weekends and overtime)

Pay Range: $27-35 per hour (based on experience)

Position Summary: Troubleshooting, HVAC rewire, test, install and repair electrical, mechanical systems and components. Applies knowledge of electrical and mechanical principles in determining equipment malfunctions and applies skills in restoring equipment to operation. Provides skilled mechanical and electrical support to all areas.

Primary Job Function:

• Troubleshoot electrical problems and diagnose issues.
• Understand and apply technical diagrams and blueprints.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and procedures.
• Use various devices, including ammeters, voltmeters, thermal scanners, and cable testers along with hand and power tools.
• Install or replace wiring, lighting, electrical controls, breakers, and other electrical devices.
• Inspect and maintain electrical systems in homes and businesses.
• Document the work completed and materials used in system.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.
• Be familiar with a wide range of electrical troubleshooting techniques.
• Experience making repair and replace decisions.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Familiarity with NEC electrical codes.
• Strong work ethic.
• Possess tools needed.

Education and Experience

•  High School Diploma or equivalent
•  8+ years’ experience in commercial, residential, or industrial electrical work preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs. consistently.
• Squatting, sitting, bending, climbing ladders, etc.
