Job description

  • Clean and sanitize locker rooms, restrooms, showers, saunas, and steam rooms.
  • Clean fitness equipment, including cardio and strength machines, throughout each shift.
  • Dust, vacuum, sweep, mop, and sanitize all floors and surfaces.
  • Empty trash and recycling containers and replace liners.
  • Restock paper products, soap, sanitizer, and other housekeeping supplies.
  • Clean mirrors, windows, glass doors, and other glass surfaces.
  • Maintain cleanliness of studios, group fitness rooms, cycle rooms, basketball courts, and common areas.
  • Clean and sanitize water fountains and bottle filling stations.
  • Wipe down handrails, door handles, counters, benches, and other high-touch surfaces regularly.
  • Maintain towel stations by collecting, folding, stocking, and organizing clean towels.
  • Report maintenance issues, broken equipment, or safety hazards to management immediately.
  • Safely use cleaning chemicals and equipment according to company policies and OSHA standards.
  • Maintain housekeeping carts, equipment, and storage areas in a clean and organized condition.
  • Follow daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules.
  • Assist with deep-cleaning projects as assigned.
  • Respond promptly to spills, accidents, or emergency cleaning situations.
  • Provide friendly and professional customer service to members and guests while working throughout the facility.
