## Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Travel Welding Supervisor to join our team in Louisville, KY. In this role, you will oversee welding operations across various job sites, ensuring that all projects meet our high standards for quality and safety. If you have a passion for welding and enjoy leading teams in dynamic environments, we want to hear from you!

## Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate welding activities on-site, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.

  • Lead and mentor a team of welders, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and performance.

  • Review project specifications and plans to determine welding requirements and allocate resources accordingly.

  • Conduct regular inspections of welding work to ensure adherence to industry standards and project specifications.

  • Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure timely completion of projects.

  • Maintain accurate records of welding activities, including progress reports and quality assurance documentation.

  • Assist in the development and implementation of safety training programs for welding personnel.

  • Travel to various job sites as required, adapting to changing environments and schedules.

    Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical certifications in welding preferred.

  • Proven experience as a welding supervisor or in a similar role within the construction or manufacturing industry.

  • Strong knowledge of welding techniques, materials, and equipment.

  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members.

  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

  • Willingness to travel frequently and work on various job sites.

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

You should be proficient in:

  • Mechanical Troubleshooting Skills
  • Tape Measure Reading
  • Blueprint Reading
