Starlux Spaces is seeking a Lead Flooring Technician to oversee and perform epoxy flooring, polished concrete, concrete preparation, and specialty flooring installations throughout Southern California.

The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, takes pride in their work, and can lead a crew while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise installation crews on job sites

• Perform concrete grinding and surface preparation

• Install epoxy, polyaspartic, urethane, and decorative coating systems

• Perform crack repairs, joint repairs, and moisture mitigation installations

• Operate grinders, vacuums, mixers, and specialty flooring equipment

• Read project scopes and ensure work is completed according to specifications

• Maintain job site safety and cleanliness

• Train and mentor junior technicians

• Communicate project progress and issues to management

• Ensure projects are completed on schedule and meet company quality standards

Qualifications:

• Flooring, concrete, coatings, or construction experience preferred

• Experience with epoxy flooring and concrete polishing preferred

• Ability to lead and motivate a crew

• Strong attention to detail

• Reliable transportation

• Ability to lift 50+ pounds

• Ability to work nights, weekends, and travel occasionally when required
