 About Us St. Luke’s Cataract and Laser Institute is seeking a Board-Certified Glaucoma Surgeon to join our established, multispecialty team in the Tampa Bay area. Since 1968, the Gills family has built a legacy of life-changing vision care and a culture of collaboration, innovation, and surgical excellence.We are seeking a candidate with excellent clinical and surgical skills who possess outstanding interpersonal skills. The candidate must be able to provide quality patient care and have a high level of experience in patient management.  Position Highlights

  • Step into a thriving practice with a large patient base and strong optometric referral network.
  • Perform a wide range of glaucoma surgeries: SLT, CPC, LPI, MIGS, tubes/shunts, and trabeculectomy.
  • Provide comprehensive glaucoma and anterior segment care in a state-of-the-art facility with an onsite ASC.
  • Supported by certified technicians, scribes, and surgical staff to maximize patient flow and outcomes.
  • Expect 30–40+ patients per day with continued opportunity for growth within an organization committed to advancing surgical and clinical excellence.

Requirements:

 Qualifications 

  • MD or DO, Board Certified or Eligible.
  • Glaucoma Fellowship-trained (2026 graduates welcome).
  • Strong surgical skills and patient -focused communication.
  • Spanish proficiency is helpful but not required.
