We are seeking an experienced and reliable Over-the-Road (OTR) Truck Driver to join our fleet. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods across long distances, ensuring the safe and timely delivery of freight. As an OTR Truck Driver, you will be expected to maintain high safety standards, adhere to all traffic regulations, and provide exceptional service to our customers. Key Responsibilities:

• Long-Distance Travel: Safely drive trucks over long distances (typically over 300 miles) to deliver goods to various locations across the country.

• Pre-Trip Inspections: Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the truck is in good condition and compliant with all regulations.

• Transport and Delivery: Safely load, secure, and deliver goods to customers, ensuring proper handling and care of freight.

• Route Planning: Plan efficient travel routes and ensure timely delivery while considering traffic, road conditions, and delivery schedules.

• Compliance: Follow all federal and state regulations regarding trucking laws, including hours of service (HOS) rules and safety standards.

• Communication: Maintain regular communication with dispatchers, supervisors, and customers to provide updates on route progress and any issues that may arise.

• Documentation: Complete necessary paperwork, including delivery logs, trip sheets, and fuel receipts. Maintain accurate records for each trip.

• Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, ensuring customer satisfaction through professional and courteous interactions.

• Fueling and Maintenance: Keep accurate fuel logs and ensure trucks are maintained properly with necessary repairs and servicing as needed.

• Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum [X] years of experience as an OTR truck driver or related field.

• Licensing: Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record.

• Preferred Qualifications:

• Specialized Certifications: HazMat endorsement, Tanker endorsement, or other additional certifications are a plus.

• Team Player: Ability to work independently but also coordinate effectively with dispatch and team members.
