Role Overview
We are seeking a Director of Operations to lead and scale our stat of Michigan business. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for driving growth, managing day-to-day operations, and building the infrastructure needed to scale.
You will oversee intake, caregiver onboarding, scheduling, compliance, and overall performance across the state.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Management:
Oversee daily operations of Michigan home care services
Ensure all client hours are staffed and services are delivered consistently
Manage scheduling, caregiver coverage, and call-outs
Build and refine internal processes for efficiency and scalability
Intake & Growth:
Oversee new client intake from referral to service start
Work closely with caseworkers and referral sources
Drive growth through relationship-building and community outreach
Ensure fast turnaround from referral to active case
Caregiver Management:
Lead hiring, onboarding, and retention of caregivers
Ensure caregivers are trained, compliant, and performing at a high level
Manage performance issues and maintain accountability
Compliance & Documentation:
Ensure compliance with Michigan Medicaid Home Help requirements
Oversee documentation, timekeeping, and audit readiness
Maintain organized internal systems and records
Team Leadership:
Manage intake coordinators, schedulers, and admin staff
Set KPIs and hold team accountable to performance metrics
Build a strong, execution-focused culture
Qualifications:
3+ years experience in home care, healthcare operations, or a similar field
Michigan Medicaid Home Help experience preferred
Experience managing teams and operations
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
