SHYAS HEALTH is looking for 5 Certified Peer Support Specialists to join our strong team in Salisbury NC. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, ambitious, and reliable.

Responsibilities

1. Provide one on one and group interventions for your assigned caseload.
2. CPSS is responsible for ensuring recovery-focused service that allows individuals the opportunity to learn to manage their own recovery and advocacy process through interventions of Peer Support staff that enhance the development of natural supports, as well as coping and self-management skills. 
3. Obtain consumer signature on accountability log daily at the end of each session and Complete daily progress note and enter it into the EHR system within 24 hours of service for each person served/supported.
4. Ensure productivity (35 billable hours full-time staff & 20 billable hours part-time staff).
5. Ensure consumers on Team are attending Peer Support Group and they have Therapy weekly/bi-weekly.

Qualifications

• The peer support specialist must be certified as a North Carolina Certified peer support specialist (NCCPSS).
• The peer support specialist must have a GED/High School Diploma.

Benefits

Clinical Supervision & Training for Licensure/Certification: Clinical Supervision for licensure/certification is offered weekly as a benefit of your employment. This is not paid time. Participation in any of the trainings and supervision for licensure and certification, will require a two-year employment commitment from the commencement date of licensure, certification, and/or supervision and training. Should you fail to honor your commitment S&H Youth and Adult Services, Inc. will recoup the cost of training and supervision from your pay, you will be responsible for reimbursing the agency for the cost of training and supervision. Should you accept this job offer, per company policy; you will be eligible to receive the following beginning on your hire date. S&H Youth and Adult Services, Inc may cancel or modify the terms of such benefit policies from time to time without further notice.

Paid Time Off (PTO): Paid time off is offered to salaried employees after 1 year of committed service, at which time, employees are eligible for 40 hours of paid time off. Please note that all time off requests must be submitted to Human Resources at least 14 days/two weeks in advance.

401K Retirement Plan: SHYAS is pleased to offer 401{k} plans to all full-time employees. A 401K plan is a personal pension {savings} account, as defined in subsection 401{k} of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code. Periodic employee contributions come directly out of your paycheck.
