Job description

Company Description Shabri supports businesses of all sizes by advancing manufacturing design technology and accelerating product development. The company leverages state-of-the-art additive manufacturing, topology optimization, cellular meshing, and generative design to help organizations bring products to market faster and more cost-effectively than traditional methods. Designers at Shabri work with high-strength materials to create durable, distinctive products that outperform competitors. A flexible pricing model allows clients to pay only for the products they order, reducing upfront investment and risk. This approach offers applicants the opportunity to work on innovative projects that directly impact customers’ efficiency and market success.
Role Description The CAD/CAM Designer – Additive Manufacturing role is a part-time, hybrid position based in Nebraska, United States, with the option to perform some work from home. In this role, the designer will create and refine 3D models and technical drawings for additive manufacturing, ensuring designs meet project specifications, performance requirements, and manufacturing standards. Day-to-day tasks include applying generative design principles, optimizing part geometry for strength and weight, preparing files for additive manufacturing workflows, and maintaining consistent CAD standards across projects. The designer collaborates with engineering and design team members to review designs, incorporate feedback, and resolve technical issues. The role also involves documenting design changes, contributing to design best practices, and supporting continuous improvement in Shabri’s digital manufacturing processes.
