Job description

SFMC Home Lending is currently hiring for a Production Associate.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The Production Associate assists a designated loan officer(s) in originating and processing loans. Duties include:
  • Representing the company in a professional manner and providing an exceptional level of customer service in all interactions and functions of the position
  • Following up on leads for potential borrowers
  • Coordinating receipt of a complete and accurate loan application package
  • Communicating effectively and quickly to all parties, both internally and externally, about timelines and expectations to ensure all loans close on time
  • Following up with borrowers for items needed for loan submission
  • Preparing disclosures and submission of loan file for processing
  • Tracking the loan throughout the entire loan application process
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
  • 2+ years of mortgage experience or related position
  • High School diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree is a plus
  • Knowledge and understanding of the lending process, federal and state law, and various loan products and guidelines
  • NMLS License in applicable states
Skills:
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a diversity of audiences.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving ability and conflict resolution skills.
  • Must have attention to detail and customer service focus.
  • Ability to adhere to established processes and checklists.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fluid and rapidly changing environment.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with strict time requirements.
  • Proficient with MS Office, with a knowledge of industry automation and software.
  • High level of integrity, ethics, discretion and professionalism in handling confidential and sensitive information.
  • Sales aptitude is a plus.
