About the Role:

Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life.
• Administer medication and monitor health conditions as directed by healthcare professionals.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
• Document and report any changes in clients' health or behavior to the nursing staff.
• Support clients with mobility and transportation needs to attend appointments or social activities.
• Collaborate with family members and healthcare teams to create personalized care plans.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance caregiving skills.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; certification in personal care or home health preferred.
• Previous experience in a caregiving role, preferably in home health or assisted living settings.
• Valid CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain.
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor.
• Ability to lift and assist clients with mobility challenges.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• Background check clearance as required by state regulations.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
