Senso is a modern Japanese fusion restaurant and cocktail bar in downtown Frankfort. We are busy and looking to fill a position for an experienced and talented sushi chef's who can work in a fast paced environment.
Pay $18-$21/hr
30-35 hrs per week

Qualifications and requirements:
Minimum one year of experience as a sushi chef required.
Fundamental knowledge of various sushi and preparation methods according to recipes and efficiently executing aesthetically pleasing sushi plates and dishes
Achieve and maintain proficiency in job functions and duties, follow instructions on prepare food items and ingredients needed for menu items (sushi, maki, nigiri and sashimi, etc.) according to prescribed recipes and/or special requests.
Ensure proper food storage, quality, and presentation standards, including temperature control, hygiene, etc.
Understand and follow the food allergy procedure and special orders/restrictions
Effective communication and ability to follow instruction and work in coordination with others.
A good team player and understand guests service and changing needs
Can stand and exert well-paced mobility for periods of up to 8 to 10 hours
Ability to lift and carry objects weighing ~40lbs, handle hot food items, etc.
