About the Role:

The Intern position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop professional skills within a dynamic work environment on-site at our Cary, NC headquarters office. This role is designed to provide meaningful exposure to the core functions of the organization, allowing the intern to contribute to ongoing projects and initiatives. The intern will work closely with experienced team members to support daily operations, research, and administrative tasks, fostering a comprehensive understanding of the industry. Through this role, the intern will build foundational skills, enhance their professional network, and prepare for future career opportunities. Ultimately, the internship aims to cultivate a well-rounded professional capable of contributing effectively in their chosen field. The intern will work on site in Cary, NC at our headquarters office, 40 hours per week, Mon-Friday, from October through May.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an accredited college or university.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic proficiency with common office software such as Microsoft Office with a strength in Excel
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous internship or volunteer experience in a related field.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific tools or software relevant to the department.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and take initiative.
  • Experience with data analysis or project management methodologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform Inventory Receipts in Sage, the company ERP system
  • Comparing spreadsheets, update documents and dashboards with accurate data
  • Participate in meetings and contribute ideas to enhance team initiatives and workflows.
  • Support administrative tasks such as scheduling, documentation, and communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with various departments to gain a broad understanding of organizational operations.
  • Investigate, analyze and resolve Accounts Payable conflicts
  • Maintain the logistics web portal, noting issues with accuracy and coordinating with IT for updates
  • Complete assigned tasks and projects within deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and professionalism.
