ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT TO THE SUPERINTENDENT

$50-60K annual salary (Permanent) + excellent benefits including medical, dental, and paid vacation

SAU #13 Freedom, Madison, & Tamworth

Full-time year round beginning in August of 2026.

SUMMARY OF POSITION

The executive administrative assistant is a full-time, salaried employee who reports to and assists the superintendent of schools, providing state reporting, board management, secretarial, human resources, and other support.ย 

QUALIFICATIONS

Administrative assistant experience in a school, municipal, or public sector setting

Organizational skill and written and verbal communication skills

Technical experience in the use of applications including Google and MS Office

JOB DIMENSIONS

The executive administrative assistant will have demonstrated success and proficiency in the following areas:

  • Handling complex and multiple assignments with efficiency, accuracy, and confidentiality
  • Displaying interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders, including community and board members, staff, and external partners
  • Exhibiting the ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team
  • Managing meeting minutes and agendas, policies, and other official documents
  • Comprehending and applying regulations, procedures, and related information
