Job Title: Student Services Specialist (Board Certified Behavior Analyst BCBA)

Location: SAU 13
Reports To: Director of Student Services
Position: Full-Time, 210 Days

Position Summary

SAU 13 (Tamworth, Madison, and Freedom) is seeking a Student Services Specialist who is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide direct and consultative behavioral services. Working collaboratively with educators, administrators, related service providers, and families, this position supports students with behavioral, social-emotional, and developmental needs through evidence-based assessment, intervention, and staff consultation.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Provide direct and consultative behavioral services to students, staff, and families.
  • Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and develop Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
  • Consult with school teams to implement, monitor, and evaluate behavioral interventions.
  • Provide coaching and professional development on evidence-based behavioral practices and provide clinical supervision to the district's Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) in accordance with BACB requirements.
  • Monitor student progress using data and recommend intervention adjustments as needed.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and families to support positive student outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with applicable district, state, and federal requirements.

Qualifications

Required

  • Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credential.
  • Experience conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and developing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to provide both direct student services and consultation to school personnel.

Preferred

  • Valid New Hampshire Special Education Certification.
  • Experience working in a public school setting.
  • Knowledge of Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS).

Terms of Employment

  • Full-time, 210-day position.
