About the role

Join the Northern Country CAMHS team as an Occupational Therapist delivering evidence-based mental health services to children and adolescents aged 0-16 years and their families. The role focuses on direct clinical practice, including discipline-specific assessment, clinical formulation and delivery of individual, family and group-based interventions. You will work both independently and within a multidisciplinary team, providing consultation and contributing to joint clinical work, education, and governance processes.

Responsibilities include high-quality clinical documentation, participation in case reviews, service evaluation and quality improvement activities, and promoting culturally safe, person-centred care. You will be supported through multidisciplinary collaboration, line management by the Service Manager, coordination with the Clinical Coordinator, access to clinical supervision, and opportunities for ongoing professional and leadership development.

Essential Qualification:

Appropriate degree or equivalent qualification which entitles registration as an Occupational Therapist with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia.
