Job description

Job Title : QA Data Test Lead

Location: Cincinnati, OH - 2-day onsite (Tuesday & Thursday)

Must Have:

  • Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 10 12 years of experience in QA with a strong focus on ETL/data testing.
  • Strong expertise in SQL for data validation and analysis.
  • Solid understanding of ETL processes and data validation techniques.
  • Experience in data warehousing concepts, including dimensional modeling (Star/Snowflake schemas).
  • Proficiency in test automation for data validation using Python, SQL, or similar tools.
  • Experience with data platforms and tools such as:
  • Snowflake,Azure Data Factory (ADF), Databricks, IDMC
  • Familiarity with big data environments and handling large-scale datasets.
  • Hands-on experience with BI testing (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, etc.).
  • Prior experience in P&C insurance domain (Policy, Claims, Reinsurance).
  • Experience with defect tracking and test management tools (Jira, HP ALM, etc.).
  • Working knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (Git, Azure DevOps, Jenkins).
  • Understanding data quality frameworks and metrics.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
  • Experience working in Agile environments with onsite-offshore collaboration models.

Good to Have:

  • Relevant certifications such as ISTQB, ICP or Agile certifications are desirable.
  • Experience in Marklogic testing and API testing
