Job Title: Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) – Retail Pharmacy
Location: Passaic County, New Jersey

Job Summary:
We are seeking a customer-focused and driven Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) to lead daily operations in a fast-paced retail pharmacy environment. This full-time role is ideal for both new and experienced pharmacists who are ready to take on leadership responsibilities while delivering high-quality patient care and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all day-to-day retail pharmacy operations
• Ensure compliance with all federal, New Jersey state, and local pharmacy laws and regulations
• Accurately dispense prescriptions and provide patient counseling on medications, side effects, and proper usage
• Deliver outstanding customer service and build strong patient relationships
• Manage pharmacy workflow to ensure efficiency and minimal wait times
• Supervise, train, and support pharmacy technicians and support staff
• Maintain inventory, including ordering, stocking, and monitoring for expired medications
• Ensure proper handling and documentation of controlled substances
• Administer immunizations (if certified) and promote wellness services
• Resolve customer concerns and insurance-related issues
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional pharmacy environment

Qualifications:

• Active Pharmacist license in the state of New Jersey in good standing
• No minimum years of experience required
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced retail setting
• Leadership potential and willingness to take initiative
• Knowledge of pharmacy software systems is a plus

Preferred (but not required):

• Immunization certification
• Familiarity with third-party billing/insurance processing
• Experience in a retail pharmacy setting
