Job description

Welcome our guests to our world-class Sports and Fitness Center located at the the beautiful Running Y Resort.  Use your outstanding customer service skills to assist our sports enthusiast patrons and explain our vast amenities while maintaining the safety guidelines and integrity of the facility.                                                                                                                                                                              Sports Center Attendant General Responsibilities:Interact with guests/owners on a one-on-one basis, as well as with large numbers of guests.Conduct pool checks.Perform light maintenance and pool corrections.Check gym equipment to ensure proper functioning.Respond to customer inquiries and complaints.Sell products and services.Ability to perform or assist with services as necessary.Conduct self in a professional manner at all times.Ensure that all guests are greeted.Maintain a safe working environment.Maintain a good working relationship with all departments.Comply with all policies and procedures set forth by the Running Y Properties Employee Handbook.Perform all other duties as assigned.Work cohesively as part of a team.Focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.Work a flexible shift.Maintain a professional appearance at all times. Job Qualifications:Minimum of one year customer service experience.High school/GED diploma preferred.Basic computer knowledge in Microsoft Window applications preferred.Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure.Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude. Physical Requirements: ADA Information Ability to speak and hearClose and distance visionFrequent standing with some walking and sittingWill stand for long periods of timeFrequently lifts/carries up to 15 lbsOccasionally lifts/carries up to 50 lbsContinual use of manual dexterity and gross motor skills with frequent use of bi-manual dexterity and fine motor skillsAble to reach hands and arms in any direction and kneel, stoop or crouch repeatedly Working ConditionsMay be indoor or outdoor settingVaried weather conditions are expectedWill work near moving or mechanical partsMay work on high or precarious placesVarying schedule to include early mornings, evenings, holidays and extended hours as business dictates
