Unit Nurse Manager (RN/LPN)

Runnells Center for Rehabilitation & Healthcare is seeking an enthusiastic, compassionate, and motivated Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our leadership team as a Unit Nurse Manager.

As a Unit Nurse Manager, you will lead an interdisciplinary team dedicated to delivering outstanding skilled nursing and rehabilitation services while fostering a positive, supportive work environment.

What You'll Do
  • Provide daily clinical leadership for an assigned nursing unit.

  • Supervise, coach, and support nursing staff to promote high-quality resident care.

  • Coordinate care with physicians, therapists, residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team.

  • Monitor resident conditions and ensure timely clinical interventions.

  • Maintain compliance with CMS, New Jersey Department of Health, and facility policies and procedures.

  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives focused on clinical excellence and resident outcomes.

  • Help create a culture of teamwork, accountability, and resident-centered care.

What We're Looking For
  • Current New Jersey RN or LPN license in good standing.

  • Skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or long-term care experience preferred.

  • Previous leadership, charge nurse, or supervisory experience is a plusโ€”but not required.

  • Strong communication, assessment, organizational, and critical-thinking skills.

  • A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and passion for leading others.
