Position Overview

We're hiring two Sales Associates to staff our retail booth and cover all mall operating hours (74 hours/week combined). Each associate will work approximately 37 hours per week on a rotating schedule that includes weekdays, weekends, and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Engage shoppers and demonstrate our espresso machines and ice makers at the booth
• Explain product features and benefits to drive interest and sales
• Process sales transactions accurately at the point of sale
• Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing booth display
• Track inventory and flag restocking needs
• Build rapport with repeat customers and mall foot traffic
• Meet or exceed individual sales targets
• Represent the Rowan and Nova Reverie brands professionally

Qualifications

• Prior retail, sales, or customer service experience preferred
• Comfortable with product demos and speaking to customers throughout a shift
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work a set weekly schedule (~37 hrs/week), including weekends
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic comfort with point-of-sale systems (training provided)
• Ability to stand for extended periods and handle light lifting (setup/breakdown, product displays)

Compensation

• Base pay: $20.00/hour
• Commission: 5% of personal sales

Schedule

• ~37 hours/week per associate
• Shifts rotate to cover all mall hours, including weekends
• Booth opens August 1; expected 6-month commitment
• Specific shift schedule to be confirmed upon hire
