What You'll Do

As an Occupational Therapist, you'll help residents improve their functional abilities, independence, and quality of life through individualized, goal-oriented therapy.

  • Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans.
  • Help residents improve independence with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and functional mobility.
  • Evaluate resident progress and modify treatment plans as clinically appropriate.
  • Supervise and support Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs).
  • Collaborate with nursing and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate resident care.
  • Participate in Patient Care Conferences and Utilization Review meetings.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation.
  • Provide education and training to residents, caregivers, and families.
  • Assist with safe and effective discharge planning.
  • Communicate with physicians regarding treatment updates, resident progress, and care recommendations.
Qualifications
  • Current California Occupational Therapist (OT) license in good standing
  • New graduates are encouraged to apply
