The Opportunity

RoofLynx LLC is seeking a dedicated Commercial Roofing Field Supervisor to lead on-site field operations for our commercial and industrial roofing projects.


This key leadership role requires deep hands-on expertise with single-ply and asphaltic roofing systems, including PVC, EPDM, TPO, and modified bitumen. You will direct, motivate, and mentor field crews to deliver top-tier installations safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities

  • Field Crew Supervision: Lead and supervise field crews during commercial and industrial roofing system installations.
  • System Technical Oversight: Oversee the installation of single-ply and modified roof systems, including PVC, EPDM, TPO, and modified bitumen assemblies.
  • Quality and Safety Assurance: Ensure daily work is executed safely, efficiently, and to exact company quality and manufacturer specification standards.
  • Schedule and Trade Coordination: Coordinate with project managers and trade subcontractors to meet daily production targets and project schedules.
  • Safety Enforcement: Conduct daily jobsite safety talks, monitor safety compliance, and enforce OSHA and company safety practices on site.
  • Workforce Management: Track crew attendance, field performance, individual productivity, and jobsite labor hours.
  • Field Problem Solving: Troubleshoot technical challenges in the field and guide crews through complex flashings, penetrations, and layout details.
  • Crew Training and Mentorship: Train crew members on proper roofing application techniques, tool operation, and new roofing material systems.
  • Operational Documentation: Maintain accurate job records of material usage, daily work completed, weather delays, and overall project progress.
  • Leadership Communication: Communicate jobsite material needs, equipment requirements, and schedule updates to project managers and company leadership.


What You Need to Succeed (Qualifications)

Required

  • Commercial Roofing Tenure: 5 plus years of hands-on experience in commercial roofing, with expertise in PVC, EPDM, TPO, and modified bitumen systems preferred.
  • Leadership Experience: Proven track record leading and supervising commercial roofing crews on active jobsites.
  • Technical Systems Proficiency: Strong knowledge of single-ply membrane assemblies, hot and cold applied modified bitumen, and commercial roofing details.
  • Plan and Detail Literacy: Ability to read and interpret basic architectural blueprints, roof plans, and manufacturer installation specifications.
  • Field Communication Skills: Effective communicator and motivator with the capability to manage crews in dynamic field environments.
  • Physical Endurance: Ability to work continuously in outdoor weather conditions and on elevated rooftops for extended periods.
  • Driver Credentials and Mobility: Valid state driver license preferred, with willingness to travel to regional jobsite locations as required.

  • Language Skills: Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a strong plus.
