Primary Care Nurse (Full-Time) – Rome Health

Rome Health is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Primary Care Nurses to join our growing healthcare team in Rome and Oneida New York. This full-time opportunity is ideal for an RN committed to delivering high-quality patient care and supporting patients and families through every stage of health and wellness.

Position Summary

The Primary Care Nurse is responsible for assessing, directing, and coordinating patient care and clinical procedures in an efficient, empathetic, and timely manner appropriate to the age of patients served. This role also serves as a patient advocate and health educator while supporting providers and care teams in a fast-paced primary care environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assess and coordinate patient care and clinical procedures
  • Deliver compassionate, patient-centered nursing care
  • Educate patients and families on health conditions and treatment plans
  • Advocate for patient needs and promote positive health outcomes
  • Collaborate with providers and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
  • Current New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license required
  • BLS certification required within 3 months of hire
  • BSN preferred
  • Strong communication, organizational, and patient care skills
