Job description

ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Provide overall leadership for the operation of assigned assets, including maintaining a safe work culture with a goal towards zero injuries and zero environmental impact, ensuring that all products manufactured meet customer requirements and specifications, and quality standards are enforced as it pertains to Rockline’s quality management systems and regulatory guidelines.
  • Utilize the Rockline Operating System, develop and support metrics, KPIs, and scorecards to ensure performance targets and strategic objectives are met.
  • Accountable for continuous improvement, asset performance, and processes/procedures for safety, quality, and cost (productivity, waste reduction), team development/training.
  • Develop standard rates for output, staffing, and rates for all manufacturing assets on an annual
  • Provides information to support cost quoting of new products to include rates, staffing required, asset for production, identify/eliminate possible manufacturing roadblocks, and ability to decline products that do not fit the current strategy or are cost prohibitive.
  • Analyzes and assesses manufacturing performance and manufacturing trends and aligns proper resources or assign projects to effectively resolve manufacturing challenges.
  • Identifies and promotes continuous improvement activities with team related to equipment, process based and
  • Liaison with external departments (Planning & Scheduling, Purchasing, Tech Support, Quality, Global Engineering, ) in support of meeting customer expectations and business performance goals.
  • Ensures that customer expectations are understood and met by all members of the Manufacturing May lead or participate in customer tours and audits.
  • Lead and participate in selection and development of new manufacturing associates to develop teams that deliver manufacturing excellence.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

Internal - Bachelor's Degree OR Within 12 months of completing their bachelor’s degree, preferably in engineering, supply chain, operations management or business and 4 years manufacturing or manufacturing support experience with 2 years of supervisory leadership or demonstrated cross-functional leadership experience.

External – Bachelor’s degree required preferably in operations, engineering, supply chain, operations management or business and 6 years of manufacturing or manufacturing support experience with 4 years of supervisory leadership.

  • Ability to analyze and present large amounts of manufacturing data, develop effective corrective actions, implement solutions, and reinforce through accountability.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced work

This internal opportunity is ideal for current associates who are ready to expand their leadership impact in manufacturing operations. The Asset Manager leads assigned assets such as Warehouse, Chem Mix and Sanitation across all shifts and is responsible for maximizing asset utilization, optimizing staffing, and driving strong performance in safety, quality, and productivity.
