Key Responsibilities

As a licensed clinical counselor, your role will encompass a variety of key responsibilities that directly contribute to the well-being of your clients. You will:

  • Maintain strict confidentiality of all mental health services provided to clients.
  • Offer individual, family, and group counseling sessions to diagnose and address personal, psychological, and interpersonal challenges.
  • Engage in psychological emergency response and crisis intervention to ensure immediate care for clients in distress.
  • Collaborate effectively with case managers, families, medical personnel, and educational staff to create integrated treatment plans that address the multifaceted needs of clients.
  • Administer psychological evaluations and assessments to help inform the treatment process.
  • Document patient progress meticulously and maintain accurate and current medical records in compliance with regulations.
  • Evaluate treatment efficacy regularly and modify patient treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
Patient Population / Client Focus

At Rock Solid Psychiatric Center, you will work with a diverse clientele, addressing a range of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and adjustment disorders. You will focus on building therapeutic alliances that empower clients to take an active role in their recovery journeys. Qualifications
  • A valid LPCC license in California is required.
  • A Master's degree in Professional Counseling or a closely related field is necessary.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is preferred.
  • Proficiency in medical coding, clinical documentation, and research practices is essential.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.
  • A minimum of three years of relevant professional experience is required.
Preferred Experience

Experience in outpatient counseling, particularly in a virtual setting, is advantageous. Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities and crisis intervention techniques will enhance your effectiveness in this role. Strong communication skills and the ability to work empathetically with a broad spectrum of individuals are highly desired.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 120,000 to 130,000 per year, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
