Job description

(Broken Arrow, OK)
Full-time Hybrid

Are you someone who’s friendly, steady, and great with people—someone who communicates clearly, stays calm under pressure, and likes having variety in your day? Do you enjoy helping others, solving problems, and keeping things organized even when the day takes a few unexpected turns?

If that sounds like you, you may be a great fit for our Community Manager role.

What This Role Looks Like

This position gives you a meaningful balance of people interaction, problem-solving, and behind-the-scenes coordination. No two days are exactly alike. You might spend the morning talking with homeowners, preparing for a Board meeting in the afternoon, and wrapping up your day by coordinating a vendor or reviewing a financial report.

It’s steady work, but it’s not repetitive. You’ll have a clear purpose and supportive leadership, while still having the flexibility to adapt as situations come up.

What You’ll Do

  • Be a friendly, reliable point of contact for Board members and homeowners
  • Communicate clearly, professionally, and kindly
  • Prepare Board packets, agendas, action lists, and community updates
  • Review monthly financial reports and track important follow-up items
  • Assist with ARC (architectural review) requests
  • Coordinate routine maintenance and special projects with vendors
  • Keep records and files updated and organized
  • Visit communities for inspections and ensure follow-up happens
  • Some travel required
  • Attend Board and Annual Meetings

Who Will Thrive in This Role

  • Someone friendly and approachable, who listens well and builds trust over time
  • Someone calm and steady who communicates in a clear, factual way
  • Someone flexible and able to shift gears as new needs come up
  • Someone who enjoys helping people and solving problems with patience and professionalism
  • Someone who pays attention to details without needing rigid structure
  • Someone who likes being relied on and takes pride in follow-through

This is a great role for someone who’s dependable but not rigid and enjoys variety while still appreciating clear expectations.

What You Need

  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • A friendly, patient, professional approach with homeowners and Board members
  • Comfort using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to stay organized even when the day changes direction
  • Experience with HOAs, property management, or similar work is helpful
  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Why You’ll Love This Role

  • You’ll build long-term relationships with Boards and homeowners
  • Your work will be appreciated privately and genuinely
  • You’ll get support and training, then the trust and independence to do your job well
  • Every day feels a little different, keeping the work interesting
  • You’ll make a meaningful impact on the communities you manage
  • You’ll work with leaders who value clarity, communication, and calm problem-solving
