Job Overview:
The Licensed Practical Nurse plays a vital role in our patient care team by supporting physicians, nurse practitioners, and registered nurses in delivering high-quality medical treatment and testing. You will be responsible for maintaining an efficient clinical environment and ensuring an orderly flow of patients to achieve the best possible health outcomes.


Qualifications:

Required:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid NJ State LPN License
  • Licensed Practical Nurse Certification
  • Vocational training as a Medical Assistant
  • BLS Certification approved by AHA

Preferred:

  • 1-2 years of clinical experience
  • Bilingual skills (Spanish)


Scheduling Requirements:

  • Per Diem, Day Shift


Essential Functions:

  • Assist physicians, RNs, and advanced practice providers with medical treatments and diagnostic testing.
  • Manage patient flow to ensure timely visits with the healthcare provider team.
  • Maintain exam rooms and clinical equipment to ensure a safe and functional environment.
  • Collaborate with the patient care team to meet established goals for clinical services and individual patient care plans.
  • Identify and report safety issues, including hazardous environments or medical errors, to ensure a secure facility.
  • Provide a compassionate, professional environment while maintaining strict patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
  • Organize and prioritize work with minimal supervision while participating in quality improvement initiatives.
