$36.50 - $50.23/Hourly Actual pay is determined based on job-related factors such as relevant experience, education, credentials, skills, internal equity, and business needs.

Job SummaryWorks under the supervision of the Coordinator Manager or Director of Department. Performs the following tests for age specific population served that may include: Echo stress echo (to include exercise and dobutamine) transesophageal (TEE) echoes contrast imaging as appropriate and general secretarial/receptionist duties as needed. Must be able to demonstrate knowledge skills andabilities to perform the above testing modalities competently in a professional and caring manner. Demonstrates ability to assess patient status data and interpret appropriate information. Ability to modify patient procedures to provide physician with appropriate clinical data to ensure quality patient care and optimal outcomes. Promotes and maintains safe work environment for staff as well as our customers incorporating national patient safety/quality initiatives.
Riverside began serving the Virginia Peninsula community in 1916. In 1963, Riverside moved to the present 72-acre location in Newport News on J. Clyde Morris Boulevard. A 450-bed facility, Riverside Regional Medical Center is the Virginia Peninsulas most comprehensive medical facility combining the most recent computerized medical technology with a healing environment. The Pavilion is a 250,000 sq. ft., $107 million, 3-story addition to Riverside Regional Medical Center, which opened in 2013. This acute care facility provides a regional cancer care center, the Peninsula regions only comprehensive stroke center, the areas only open-heart surgery program, the regions only Level II Trauma Center, and a cornerstone neurosciences program that includes the Chesapeake, Riverside and University of Virginia Radiosurgery Center.
Graduate of an accredited cardiac ultrasound program or equivalent on the job training from an echo Laboratory, preferred
Minimum of one year experience preferred. Valid CPR card current.Years of Service: 1 YearRequired/Preferred: Preferred
Active status in good standing: Registered by the ARDMS or registry eligible as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer(RDCS, Adult), or with CCI/NBCVT as a Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS)
