Seasonal Medical Professional (RN, LPN, EMT)

With Relocation

Employment Type: Full-Time, Seasonal (Summer 2026)

About Client

Collaborating with elite residential youth programs across the United States, we place dedicated healthcare providers into vibrant, community-focused outdoor environments. These partner organizations prioritize the well-being of their participants, relying on skilled medical teams to guarantee a secure, healthy, and memorable summer experience for everyone on campus.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $1,000–$1,700/week — Based on experience and qualifications

  • Relocation Assistance: Travel stipends provided

  • Shift: Fully residential and on-site; schedules vary by location but include designated breaks and scheduled days off

  • Benefits Package: Provided housing (private or shared); all meals included; full access to recreational amenities and lakefronts; select locations offer camper enrollment for staff children

Job Summary

Embark on a unique seasonal assignment by relocating to a premier northern summer camp. This role allows clinical practitioners to deliver high-quality medical care—ranging from routine first aid to comprehensive health coordination—while enjoying a restorative, outdoor-focused "working vacation" away from their typical clinical setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver daily medical attention and first aid to the campus population within a residential framework

  • Oversee the secure intake, logging, and accurate dispensing of all camper and staff medications

  • Evaluate and manage common health issues, seasonal allergies, and athletic injuries

  • Keep precise, confidential electronic medical records and daily treatment documentation

  • Collaborate with local healthcare facilities and on-site Medical Directors for escalated clinical situations

  • Engage with the camp community by leading safety briefings and health orientations

  • Maintain clear, professional correspondence with parents and program directors regarding participant health

  • Serve as a welcoming, steady, and proactive clinical figure in the campus wellness center

Minimum Requirements

  • Valid, active certification or licensure as an EMT, LPN, RN, or Nurse Practitioner

  • Commitment to temporarily relocate to a northern state (such as MA, WI, ME, or NY) for the summer

  • Up-to-date First Aid and CPR certifications

  • Capacity to reside on-campus and participate in a shared, rotating on-call schedule

  • Solid clinical assessment capabilities and comfort practicing in a youth-oriented, outdoor setting

  • Outstanding interpersonal communication and collaborative habits

Ideal Qualifications

  • Professional background in urgent care, emergency medicine, school health, or pediatrics

  • Flexible demeanor with a strong appreciation for communal living and outdoor recreation

  • Prior exposure to residential youth programs or summer camp environments is advantageous
