Job description

Position Description: About Right Path Recovery:We are a leading provider of comprehensive behavioral health services dedicated to helping individuals overcome substance abuse and addiction. We are committed to delivering evidence-based treatment and compassionate care to support our clients on their journey to recovery.About the Position:We are seeking a Licensed Clinical Drug and Alcohol Counselor (LICDC) or Licensed Independent Social Worker to join our team of dedicated professionals. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, a deep understanding of substance abuse disorders, and a passion for helping individuals achieve and maintain sobriety. As an Independent Counselor you will play a crucial role in providing counseling, support, and guidance to clients and staff as they navigate the challenges of addiction recovery.Main Responsibilities:Supervision: provides clinical supervision to all clinical staff, interns intake specialist. Coordinates activities, client case load, and work assignments for staff as well as signing of charts.Communication: schedules individual supervisory conferences for staff and holds regularly scheduled staff meetings.Counseling Clients: facilitates counseling services, as needed, in order to assist clients in reaching treatment goals, provides ongoing education and support; maintains case load of clients as needed.Trainings: provides on-going training programs and in-services related to agency policies and annual competency criteria.Development: assesses professional capabilities of licensed and unlicensed staff and provides performance evaluations in compliance with agency standards. Encourages staff to further their education utilizing the agency's professional growth benefit.Case Conferences: provides guidance and direction to assist staff with questions/concerns related to client treatment plans, case management, or other clinical/counseling areas.Quality Improvement: maintain compliance quality assurance processes as required by OHMAS. Assists with OHMAS audits and ensures compliance with HIPAA Privacy and Security policy and procedures.Administrative: including but not limited to providing staff information for HR/payroll management, all probationary and annual staff evaluations, new hire orientation and training, correction action and performance improvement plans when deemed necessary. Participates in the recruitment and selection of clinical personnel and assures sufficient staff are hired.Record Keeping and Documentation: completes clinical and statistical reports routinely and when delegated by the clinical services director. Reporting includes staff/client ratios, clinical treatment plans, closing and/or transfer summaries, and other recordkeeping paperwork related to treatment as required by the agency's program policies and procedures. All reports and requests for information are submitted timely.Skills:Critical Thinking - Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.Verbal Communication - Talking to others to convey information effectively.Active Listening - Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the point being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.Reading Comprehension - Understanding written sentences and paragraphs to work related documents.Social Perceptiveness - Being aware of other's reactions and understanding why they react as they do.Service Orientation - Actively looking for ways to help people.Qualifications:LISW (Licensed Independent Social Worker)LICDC (Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor)Benefits Include:401(k)Health InsuranceDental InsurancePaid Time OffSchedule:Full Time, Day ShiftWeekend Availability $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 Annually
