As an Assistant Project Manager in Las Vegas, Nevada, you will guide the infrastructure needed for multidisciplinary teams working on meaningful and landmark projects in the western US. Our Assistant Project Mangers work in collaborative groups across the regional office and the entire company, creating a driving force knowledge-sharing, development, and project success.
 

Qualifications

Qualified candidates will have a BSCE degree, Nevada Registration as a Professional Engineer, and a minimum of 5 years of land development experience or the equivalent of 10 years of total work experience. 
 
 The candidate must demonstrate the following:

  • Independent thought and decision-making abilities
  • Strong people and project management skills
  • Adept ability to establish and maintain strong and positive working relationships with clients and public agency personnel, as well as in-house professional peers

Candidate experience must also include the following:

  • Supervision of engineering designers (including daily assignments of work, review of work, and quality control)
  • Management of project schedules and budgets
  • Preparation of contracts, fee proposals, and scopes of work
  • Significant experience in client and public agency interactions 

Candidate technical experience must include the following: 

  • Preliminary engineering design studies (incorporating land use and zoning considerations, assessment and consideration of site constraints, and potential regulatory issues)
  • Preparation/processing of tentative tract maps, understanding of final subdivision map processes, preparations/processing of public improvement plans and site development plans for commercial and residential developments
  • Preparation and review of attendant hydrologic studies and drainage reports 

AutoCAD/Civil 3D experience is required.

This position generally requires extensive experience and demonstrated engineering abilities in all aspects of land development projects and in interacting comfortably and productively with clients and public agencies.
