Ri Ra Burlington

Ri Ra (roughly translated as "Good Fun") has been a labor of love for Ciaran Sheehan and David Kelly, two childhood friends from Ireland, since they emigrated to the USA in the 1990's. The duo's mission was to create a gathering place like those pubs that they knew so well from their hometowns in Ireland. Such a place would have authentic Irish interiors, would be welcoming to all and would act as a "social hub" for the local community; a "Real Irish Local". Ri Ra in downtown Burlington, VT, encompasses a fantastic, community oriented pub & restaurant, as well as "The Burlington Whiskey Room" on College Street! We want people who support our Mission; which (to "Create Experiences That People Love") and want to have fun in achieving it!

What You Will be Doing

G

reeting guests on arrival with a warm and friendly welcome

M

anaging the Reservation System and floor / seating charts

A

ccurately quoting wait times and escorts guests to designated table

F

ollowing up with guest requests, either directly or via the assigned Bartender / Server

A

ssisting Servers and Bartenders in maintenance and cleaning of service utensils and service equipment as required

B

ussing tables (clearing plates, cups, glassware and condiments etc.)

R

esetting tables to standard

A

nswering incoming phone calls in a professional and courteous manner, providing requested information as able

A

ccommodating and processing "To Go" orders, merchandize orders and / or door cover as required

E

nsuring that the Host Stand (and all other assigned relevant areas) is maintained in an organized, clean and sanitary manner

E

nsuring that all set-up and break-down tasks are completed to standard
