Immediate openings for skilled operators of excavators, dump trucks, dozers and other various forestry equipment for residential and commercial land clearing jobs. Candidates MUST be willing to work various other tasks including field labor and daily maintenance of the equipment if needed.

We primarily work in Oakland and the surrounding counties but must be willing to travel up to 1.5 hours around Novi, MI.

We handle both large and small scale clearing so you may be at a different site everyday or be at one site for up to 2 months. We work outdoors and working hours are limited by daylight, weather, and municipal guidelines. You may be required to work as early as 6am and as late as 8pm Monday through Saturday.

Required Experience and Requirements:

*At least 2 years’ experience operating heavy equipment

* Understanding of heavy equipment safety protocols, ability to understand if equipment is not running properly and understanding of daily and preventative maintenance

*Ability to accurately follow directions and ask questions for clarity if needed

*Must work efficiently and have common sense

*Ability to read a plot plans and stakes

*Ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision and without damage to equipment and property.

*Valid driver’s license

*Dependable daily transportation to jobsites

*Must be able to pass background check and pre-employment/random drug tests

*Ability to work in all types of environments, weather conditions and all seasons
